On a recent trip to the Texas Hill Country with a focus to photograph the annual Bluebonnets, I happened upon a group of peacocks! To my amazement they proudly strolled closer and closer to me!

Dallas Zoo Giraffe Having Fun With Tongue
Spectacular moments at the Dallas Zoo occur when you patiently hang around, click your shutter constantly awaiting that special shot. The Giraffes are gratefully eating this sunny afternoon in their comfy habitat. The tongues were swishing, licking and flapping as I shot dozens of pics with delight!

I watched Mama Elephant, Mlilo, snacking away at the Dallas Zoo for a long time hoping to capture a special moment and fell in love with how this epic example of “the grass was greener on the other side” was a joy to capture!

When I shot this pic of Mama Elephant, Mlilo, at the Dallas Zoo while she continued to stretch over and further to the greens for her lunch, I really felt this would tell a story in itself!
